A long path to the stage.
Marina has been passionate about theater since childhood — an active participant in her school drama group and a regular in school productions.
In college, she majored in childhood education and joined her university's Comedy Club (KVN), performing in student productions and learning the comedic timing and ensemble craft that still shows up in Bravo's writing. As an energetic member of the Betar youth movement, she mastered organizational skills and became a popular community leader.
After immigration to the United States, Marina continued building both her professional and personal life. Working at Sears Corporation, running a daycare, and managing healthcare practices were important steps toward realizing a longer-running dream: owning a business that combined working with children and being part of an artistic circle.
Bravo Theater is the result of that long journey — a community for everyone who values Russian language, Russian culture, and the live performing arts, brought together on a real stage in the Chicago suburbs.
