Bravo's musical theater dance students audition into our main-stage productions. The classroom isn't separate from the stage — what students learn on Tuesday shows up in a show in May.

Age & level guidance.

Students are placed by age and a short observation in their first class. Movement between levels happens at the start of each new term and is communicated directly with families.

Questions about musical theater at Bravo.

01Does my child have to sing or act to take this class?
No. Musical theater dance is a dance class first — but students who also sing or act here often find their way into our productions.
02How does a student get cast in a Bravo musical?
By audition. Bravo holds open auditions for each production. Classes prepare students directly for these auditions.
03What ages perform in main-stage productions?
Ages 8 through adult, depending on the show. We program shows with roles across our age groups.
04What should students wear?
Form-fitting movement clothes, jazz shoes, and hair pulled back.
